Product Overview
When modern infrastructure demands uncompromising safety and reliable power distribution, dry cast resin transformers are the ultimate choice. This product line is specifically engineered for critical locations with strict fire protection requirements, including commercial buildings, airports, power plants, oil platforms, subways, and high-rise structures.
Functioning as a premium cast resin type transformer, it effectively eliminates the fire and environmental hazards associated with traditional oil-filled units. Compared to a standard dry resin transformer, this series offers cutting-edge manufacturing technology synchronized with global standards. Whether integrated into a box-type substation or used independently, this highly efficient cast resin dry type transformer delivers exceptional stability, long lifespan, and superior thermal performance for your electrical grid.
Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer Features & Benefits
- Advanced High-Voltage Coils: Offers F-class insulation using semi-hard enameled wire (120~210Mpa) combined with silica powder and epoxy resin for high thermal shock resistance and flame retardance. H-class options utilize OMEX paper-wrapped flat copper wire impregnated via VPI vacuum pressure equipment.
- Precision Low-Voltage Coils: Mainly foil-wound using internal argon gas protection welding on the winding machine. This ensures high precision, eliminates unbalanced ampere-turns, improves heat dissipation, and enhances short-circuit capabilities.
- Intelligent Temperature Control: Equipped with a dual-sensor device (PIC non-linear and PT100 linear resistors) featuring an LED display. It records maximum temperatures, triggers automatic alarms/trips, and controls the cooling fans.
- Reliable Cooling System: Utilizes Natural Air cooling (AN) under normal conditions, with an optional Forced Air cooling (AF) system that automatically activates via the temperature controller to handle overload capacities safely.
- Durable Protective Shells: Available in standard steel, stainless steel, or aluminum alloy. Enclosures range from IP20 (preventing solid objects >12mm) for indoor use, to IP23 (preventing water drops within a 60° angle) for outdoor applications.
- Exceptional Environmental Tolerance: Designed for altitudes up to 2000m. Operates safely in ambient temperatures ranging from -30°C (for outdoor models) to +40°C, and under relative humidity levels below 93%.

FAQs
It features a dual-sensor temperature control device that provides real-time LED monitoring. Under normal conditions, it uses natural air cooling (AN), but it can automatically activate forced air cooling (AF) fans if temperatures rise during overloads.
It can be installed at altitudes up to 2000m. Indoor models can operate in temperatures as low as -5°C, while outdoor models can withstand temperatures down to -30°C, with a maximum ambient temperature of +40°C.
