The YB Series Intelligent Integrated Substation is a high-performance, compact power distribution unit that integrates high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage electrical equipment into a complete, factory-assembled package. It is specifically designed to meet the power demands of urban high-rise buildings, residential areas, high-tech industrial zones, small and medium-sized factories, mining and oil fields, and temporary construction sites.
As a modern alternative to traditional civil-engineered substations, the YB Box-Type Substation offers a footprint that is typically only 1/10 to 1/5 of a conventional substation of the same capacity. This drastically reduces design workload, construction time, and overall infrastructure investment.
Technical Features & Safety Design
High-Voltage (HV) Side
- Advanced Protection: Generally protected by a load switch-fuse combination.
- Safety Mechanisms: If one phase of the fuse blows, all three phases trip simultaneously to ensure system safety.
- Switch Options: Available in air-blast, vacuum, or sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) types.
- Automation Ready: Can be equipped with electric operating mechanisms for seamless automation upgrades.
- High Capacity Support: For transformers over 800kVA, advanced vacuum circuit breakers like ZN12, ZN28, or VS1 can be utilized.
Low-Voltage (LV) Side
- Main Breakers: Utilizes universal or intelligent circuit breakers for selective protection.
- Feeder Systems: Outgoing switches use compact molded case circuit breakers (MCCB) with short arcing times, supporting up to 30 circuits.
- Power Factor Correction: Features an intelligent automatic tracking reactive power compensation device with both contact and contactless switching options.
- Structural Durability
Robust Enclosure: The frame is constructed from galvanized sheet metal and treated with electrostatic spray coating for maximum corrosion prevention.
